Charmaine Parker-Lewis
Charmaine Parker Lewis (Writer/Producer/Director): An award winning self- taught screenwriter and filmmaker born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Parker Lewis has been in the film industry for over twenty years.

Her work has gain recognition across the world, winning her first award for her script, One Morning, at the Urban Media Filmmakers in Atlanta, GA in 2007, voted top 100 screenwriters in an international film festival for 2017, top 10 Finalist in the Wildsound International Film Festival One-page script 2008 in Canada, 2011, Wildsound International First Scene Winner, 2019 finalist in a New York City Screenwriter Competition, and a growing list of awards and accomplishments from the industry.
Her body of work includes short films like “One Morning,” which tells the story of a bus driver who had to battle with the kids on her bus and the demanding struggles she faced at home. “Poster Girl,” a girl who was kidnapped and forced into human trafficking, and “Neimad.” She has also written, directed, and produced a number of commercials, music videos, and television shows.
Lewis is also involved in her community, creating film clubs for young people like Fearless Generation Filmmakers and Sugarland Filmmakers. The youth was introduced to different acting coaches in the film industry and participated in television shows as well as movies. She is a mentor and educator and has developed programs to assist people with the development of their scripts.
Lewis continues to live in Louisiana with her young family, where she is in her mid-stages of putting together her debut feature, 12 Bars.
